Masters GPA listed. Emailed to look at the application update. Were 115 applicants for this cycle, was not 1 of the 6 taken despite a great interview with faculty and research fit from master's thesis. Disappointing.

That was the first email I got from ISU. It gives no email notification during the application process, and its system is complicated. Ignore this result, I'll keep waiting for other decisions.

Applied prior prioritások deadline. So sad it was my first choice.

Didn't expect to get rejected from there at least. Zero offer as of now.

Ignore waitlist. Does anybody know the details of the funding issues? These applications feel like a scam. They should not be allowed to accept $140 payments for applications to specific areas (e.g. Theory) if they anticipate accepting 0 applicants into those areas. Especially since one explicitly chooses a specialty in the form. Don't forget also that we're paying higher application fees for their review of a comparatively smaller number of application materials (e.g. no CV).

Masters GPA 4.0 in CS. One pre-print publication (not first author). To the person annoyingly writing wait-list entries below: I applied after the priority deadline.
