Speech Language Pathology Graduate School Admission Results

For everyone asking about UT decisions , I'm a UT student right now and all of my professors have told me that they have received the highest amount of applications they have ever gotten and they lost a week due to the ice storm here in Texas. It will likely take them longer than normal to send out decisions.

So excited!! This was my top choice :) so happy they opened a program!

Super bummed... i literally did my post-bacc here! 4.0 post-bacc gpa, 2 years research experience, 2 years of ABA, SLPA license. Anyways, I have heard nothing but good things about FSU's program. I will most likely stay on the waitlist!

Was notified today about being placed on the waitlist. I have decided to remain on the waitlist.

Got an email with the rejection letter. I have a 3.94 undergrad, 4.0 gpa in their graduate BRIDGE program, I have work experience in a related field. I am active in my community. I had really great references. Very surprised I didn't get in or at least waitlisted.

4.0 in the major, tons of volunteer work, special needs parent, excellent letters of rec.

Placed on “alternate list”, emailed regarding how they go about this process. I am in the top tier of the alternate list and was told that the first round of acceptance letters have until April 15th to accept or decline their admission. I was also informed that UL Lafayette is only taking 20 students this year instead of the usual 35 due to downsizing of the number of faculty over the last year. If you decide to not accept admission please let the school know

I've been checking the portal all day, and finally got an update! No email yet. I'm not ready commit just yet, but it's a strong possibility this will be my school.

First time applicant accepted via email on March 12th, 2021 to McGill for the MSc Applied program in Speech-Language Pathology! Cumulative GPA of 3.89. No prior SLP experience, but I do have some research experience via an Honours Thesis as well as I have been a teaching assistant for phonetics and introduction to linguistics. Undergrad is in Linguistics (concentration in Psycholinguistics and Communication Disorders) and a minor in Spanish. Congrats to all accepted! Will wait to hear back from other schools before making a decision.

not an interview - TTPB: on UT Austin's website, they said they typically announce the week before their spring break (which is next week) so I've been expecting to hear from them all week but haven't heard anything yet
