If you have better offers, please decline the Rice University Applied Physics program offer. I received a mail saying I have been put on the waitlist on 15/02/2022. Rice University is my top choice.

Checked portal to see status and an update had been made on the status of my application.

Received TA ship offer directly. Very weird email.

Emailed the grad coordinator and got a reply; hep-th. I don't understand what are they waiting for. They have the results and why not send it together. I had my hopes up, lol!

Ignore waitlist; Those who are planning to decline Georgia Tech and have better offers, please decline it ASAP. If you delay the decision, Georgia Tech wouldn't send anymore offers before April. This would really help. Please make your decision asap.
