I think they are releasing offers each week depending on how many ppl rejected offers. I still think there is the chance if didn't get the rejection from them. Keep your heads up!

TOEFL 117. Comp Engg from NUS. No research experience. Moderate SOP and LORs. 2 years work exp.

GRE 326, TOEFL 107, CGPA 8.4 from new IIT , 2 International publications, 2.5 years experience, moderate to strong LORs and SOP. Morale down after rejects from Stanford, UIUC, Wisconsin and Maryland. Should I even expect admits from Umich, UCSD , Purdue and UCSB?

GRE 320 - Q161 (Maybe that's why) 2 years work ex in a multinational company. 2 strong LORs, 1 mod. Toefl 113. Bachelor's top university.

Received email from POI after applying in December. Also accepted at NYU; rejected from Stanford, CMU, UT-Austin, UMD, Wisconsin, Yale, and Columbia.

The main reasons for application rejection are as follows: - GPA or CGPA did not meet the cut off of the accepted pool. The average GPA of the accepted pool was 3.65. - For applications from India, we accepted: o CGPA of 8.0 and above from top tier Institutes (very few exceptions were made); o CGPA of 8.5 and higher of tier II institutes; o CGPA of 8.8 and higher of tier III institutes and o CGPA of 9.2 and higher of tier IV institutes. If your CGPA did not make this cut, please understand that you did not stand the competition of the pool of applications this year. - Your work/internship experience and LORs were also taken into consideration during review.

3 Internships, 1 year of research experience (no publications), undergraduate computer engineering from top 5 university, other offers from USC, Cornell, UIUC, UMich, etc.

Congratulation to the poster below who received admission on 21st March 2017. in my application check list it shows a new entry Official Transcript (Awaited). I am not sure what it means because official transcript are submitted after admission and still not have admission from University of Delaware. Does it also shows the same in your application checklist?

Max-Planck collaboration PhD reject. I applied to CS, the application was moved to Max-Planck from their side.

Applied to Ph.D. program, but was rejected. Accepted for Masters, but no funding offered. I have other Ph.D. and Masters offers which are funded. Will likely choose one of those.
