Clinical Psychology Graduate School Admission Results

Any applicant(s) for Molly Losh's lab been notified yet?

I haven't heard back from Toledo, but I have been emailing with my POI's. They told me it could be early March. Based off of older submissions that seems about right, so buckle up for next week!

This school bummed me out (the interview/visit, not the rejection).

To the posters below, I emailed head of department earlier in the week and was informed the admissions committee would meet today. I anticipate we will hear back next week.

Top choice. Time to settle in and play the waiting game.

I was told that I am a strong candidate for Masters and asked if I wanted to be considered.

rejected from Ph.D. Program but offered immediate admissions to MA program. in the email the director of the MA program writes "Many otherwise qualified students fail to be accepted into clinical Ph.D. programs because they lack sufficient research experience" and goes on to tell me how their MA program could help. While I agree the program wasn't a great fit for me, this email is pretty infuriating, considering I have a MA, 7 pubs including two first author, and a job as a research analyst. Makes me think they didn't even review my app!

To the URI poster below, would you mind telling me your POIs initials?

Has anyone heard back from Toledo since interviews?

No word on funding or assistantship

Went to Interview weekend Feb 12. Seemed to have gone really well. Now I get a letter saying they thought very highly of my application, but cannot yet offer me admission and I have been placed on the alternate list. The letter repeats a few times that they do not know any information on admissions, alternates, or when they will know more information. Has anyone else had this/similar experience?

Got an email to check the app website. Kinda expected because I didn't get an interview. Ohh well.

Not surprised, still disappointed.

This is my 5th rejection (out of the 10 schools I applied to). Not surprised but still quite upset. Getting tired of all these rejections! Well, after all this negativity, I am still wishing everyone who made it the best of luck :)

Wait-listed, dang. What the does high alternate mean? It means they gave an offer to someone else and they're trying to make it sound ok, in case they need you, I'm assuming.

Has anybody heard anything from La Salle? I believe they told us that they were aiming to get out a decision some time today and I haven't heard from them. Any knowledge is welcomed!

Psy.D. Program. Got letter in the mail saying I had been waitlisted. Better than a rejection, but not sure how long I can hold out as I do have an offer from somewhere else.
