- rejected from Ph.D. Program but offered immediate admissions to MA program. in the email the director of the MA program writes "Many otherwise qualified students fail to be accepted into clinical Ph.D. programs because they lack sufficient research experience" and goes on to tell me how their MA program could help. While I agree the program wasn't a great fit for me, this email is pretty infuriating, considering I have a MA, 7 pubs including two first author, and a job as a research analyst. Makes me think they didn't even review my app!
