2:1 at undergrad. Super excited!

Applied for Joint PhD in Social Work and Social Science (Sociology). Received rejection email from program director. Graduate GPA: 3.75, No GRE. 3 years teaching experience as lecturer, 3 years research experience as a research assistant, co-author on 4 papers, presentations at 2 conferences 7a/1i/3r

I write a email to ask result and they told me it's a rejection. Congrats people who receive the offer.

Gpa is masters, super excited! 2 years research/teaching 1a/3r/4p

Masters in Applied Sociology 4.0 GPA. No GRE.

I was informally told I had been reject before (Feb 4th) the official rejection came on Feb. 15.

Rejected from the PhD program but accepted to the MSW program.

I am currently on the waiting list and was informed that I will need to wait until April for funding decisions. I would like to kindly request that if any accepted students decide to decline their offer (perhaps due to a better opportunity), it would be greatly appreciated if they could do so as early as possible. I would be extremely grateful for any consideration.

0a/1w/9r......This may be my last hope. If you plan to decline the offer, please contact the department as soon as possible. This application season has been really tough, and I truly want to pursue a PhD. I swear I will become a passionate scholar who helps others who want to pursue a PhD in the future. When I received the rejection letter before, I cried for a long, long time. I kindly ask those who do not intend to accept their offers to decline them. Thank you so much!

Ignore status! Has anyone heard anything from this school? I saw that last year they sent out a lot of their decisions Feb 14th so I’m just trying to see if anyone has heard anything yet.

IGNORE STATUS: Has anyone not heard anything back from Cornell? I've seen people getting their decision two weeks ago and I'm not quite sure what should I do.

0a/1w/8r gradually coming at the end of this season...it looks like this is my only chance. although the finale will be the luck of the draw, still hoping for the mercy. "please please please don't prove i'm wrong, please please please don't bring me to tears when i just did my best so nice..."

I got my offer letter on Feb 14, 2025.
