Physics Graduate School Admission Results

Well, you ask a question about tufts and you get a response. Five minutes after posting about info from Tufts I get the rejection email. If this is how it works, can Brandeis and BC go ahead and send me my rejections as well, please. So far 4 rejections out of 6 applications. Let's go for 6 out of 6. I'm waiting Brandeis and BC.

To the poster below: I waiting to hear from CU Boulder also. Most decisions last season were given out by this time. Guessing waitlist status? Expecting a rejection at this point...

Rejected by email. Email says they had 970 applications for 45 positions. And I thought I stood a chance. Was my dream school.

Is anyone else still waiting to hear from Princeton? Does anybody know when their decisions will come out?

All my decisions have been received, finally. Feels good man.

I guess the same email everyone else got. :(

Rejected to most schools I applied to, so expected. Thought I stood a chance considering my 3 and a half years of research in both experimental and theoretical projects, 2 papers. I guess it just means I have to work harder!

Application season ended. Hep-th, second year application, from Asia, currently doing Part III in Cambridge. 3.95/4 undergrad major GPA, with Straight A's for QFT, gauge theories, GR, differential geometry, group theory, statistical field theory and so on. 8 papers (2 published, 4 submitted to journal and arXiv, 2 unfinished in note form about 20 pages), with half of them not in Hep-th. No connections from US at all, got an offer from Cornell among top10 schools, will treasure this so hard-earned offer.
