Physics Graduate School Admission Results

They are mailing the official acceptance letter to me for me to sign, but they notified me via email that I was accepted with a teaching assistantship.

Funny that anyone still uses snail mail for admissions/rejections these days...

To those who are either already admitted or waitlisted: Hello folks! I am on a waitlist at NYU, too. Please withdraw your application from admitted or waitlisted status at NYU if you have a better option. Please decline offer ASAP. This is my last hope. Thank you for your help :)

To the USC poster below: on April 7, I received an email from the graduate coordinator saying that "while the first round offers have been made, final decisions for everyone will not be clarified until April 15th." We have to wait until April 15.

Since we're all posting overly desperate posts and obsessive questions, I might as well too. To the BC rejection poster below, when was the letter postmarked (only a Jesuit university would mail stuff)? I live in Boston and have yet heard anything from BC or Brandeis. I'm pretty sure I'm not in anywhere, I just want them to tell me I'm rejected at this point so I can stop obsessing.

Applied for AMO Exp. Politely rejected from waiting list by notification of POI that I had an interview with a few weeks ago. Despite low PGRE I had connections and a good research fit. Relieved to finally have a decision. Seems I will be attending CU Boulder :)

Responding to the person below, I applied Biophysics. I emailed the department, and they responded today with: "If any additional offers are made, we will make them within the next few days, before the April 15th deadline for US institutions. There is no set order to the students that are on the waitlist as they will be reviewed on a case by case basis if necessary. Unfortunately no further information is available regarding the waitlist. Thank you for your patience."
