General rejection email

TPB: Professor Flores-Lagunes told me they had more than 250 applicants this year and their goal is class size of 8-10 students. I know someone who received their funding offer which includes 22k stipend +5k summer bonus (altogether 27k). It is a great school which highly focused on Econometrics. To funded students, if you have better offers, please decline the offer from SU.

I left a voice mail and email to the mechanical engineering department asking about my application status around March 7. One of the MechE advisors called me on March 25 to inform me that I am accepted. She told me that my status would update on the website in few weeks, but it has not been updated yet. I received an email saying “create your NETID” on March 26. On April 6, I received the acceptance letter in my email, and it was dated March 24. So it might take some time, be patient. Good Luck.

Please if you are not going then turn down your offer ASAP!! I really really need this, PLSSSSS

Ignore interview part, I also have not heard anything yet and applied the first day it was available. Hopefully we hear back soon good luck!

Surprised I was waitlisted. Didn't expect it to be popular at York. I did get offers from others universities a couple weeks back tho so all good.

To the post who got accepted off the waitlist from NYU, when did you receive the email? I had been waitlisted as well a month ago. Thanks
