(ignore interview) wondering if anyone from the methods for policy research track heard back about an interview or just decision sciences so far... thanks so much

Checked the portal, saw the "Pending" button had changed to "Decision, opened it and immediately saw, "We regret to inform you..." Oh well!

Interviewed with the Professor mentioned in my application in the machine learning theory field.

I had my interview on the 11th, so less than a week later, I was notified me via email that I was accepted into the department's doctoral program.

I received a kind email noting that I have been waitlisted. I hope I can get into this program. this seems like a scary year for applying for PhD. all schools have strong pools of applicants. does anyone know whats going on?

Grad gpa 3.8 Strong LOR and decent research background, waitlisted on funding.

Current student here, do not join Deborah Levin's lab. She is toxic, abusive, and unprofessional to her students, especially her international students. You will have a more fulfilling Ph.D. with anyone else as well as better advising.

I have a master's GPA of 4.0, undergrad gpa is probably negligible.

Anybody who has heard from UPenn? :(
