Undergoing a career change, and had a hard time getting my narrative across with the short, specific essay prompts. Good GRE, decent GPA, AmeriCorps experience. Disappointed, but I'm not surprised.

To the poster below, I was also accepted unofficially by email. I applied in mid-September for Spring 2016. They told me to defer for Fall 2016 for being considered for funding. I got exhausted emailing them about funding. In January, they told me an assistantship decision will not be made until Late May. A few days ago, they told me that assistantship decisions have been completed for now. ... blah ... blah .. This university is quite unsincere and unprofessional dealing with students .... Tired of with them!
