Af Am/American Studies. This concludes the end of my first PhD application cycle. For months my life has revolved around the possibility of being selected for this program, but it is quite nice now to have a little bit of peace. I am accepting that this was not in God's plan for my life and am working to be grateful for the opportunity I have been extended. I am 10 years out of undergrad, with no significant graduate or conference experience. It was always a shot in the dark but I maintain that I was worthy of taking the shot! I learned so much about myself in this application cycle and am thankful for it all. I wish the best for every one being accepted into the program this year and can't wait to cross paths, because we will! :)

GPA is Masters. I applied for the dual program with English. This was my top choice so I am upset, but I am glad to have an acceptance from a really nice program. For those still waiting on acceptance, keep your head up! You only need one! 1a/0w/10r/9p
