Interviewed in late February with POI, received no intimation since and I received a rejection today. Area: ML/NLP

I was hoping for at least masters.

I got accepted!!

Received an email stating there is a update in the status. SPIRE portals says update pending.

Received an email notice two days before the portal status actually updated.

It's not fair to get rejection just 4 days before the April 15th deadline, risking another offer. Same with Johns Hopkins University. Why do they keep us waitting, when they already have made their decisions. No waitlist, no rejection. In my country the application fee is the quarter of a monthly stipend. Not mentioning the time and energy... Being ghosted this way it's just not fair.

ignore waitlisted. may be its too late to hope for an acceptance, why don't they send us rejection yet. Anybody with any information? Worried sick.

Portal initially showed "On Hold - Action Needed", they wanted my TOEFL scores. Sent them on the same day, got official notice on Mar 26 :)
