Received both departmental and Grad Division letters today (22 March 2022) via email, although I had impatiently asked about my application and was told on 8 March that I'd be accepted. I'm going for a dual focus in Archival Studies and Rare Books / Print and Visual Culture. My undergrad GPA (at another UC) wasn't outstanding and I have done no formal library work. However, I also have an MA and PhD in Medieval Studies (both from UK unis, non-Oxbridge) and considerable experience with medieval manuscripts (incl. several journal articles and a book), so I imagine that helped. Now I'm just waiting to hear about funding. I'm very much looking forward to the program, especially considering I applied to only this program.

Got an email from the CS department. No funding or award. Very excited to be offered by LA! Already decided to go Princeton, so some waitlisted friend should be expecting the offer soon :)
