University Of Washington Graduate School Admission Results

Having a relevant UX design experience of 5 years. good portfolio. genuine SOP, LOR.. was my dream course.

We review applications based on several criteria in addition to test scores, GPAs, and recommendation letters. Such criteria may include (i) relevance of prior undergraduate degree to graduate education in Industrial & Systems Engineering at the University of Washington; (ii) academic reputation of previous degree institutions; (iii) prior experience with mathematically rigorous research; (iv) prior publications in well-known scholarly journals; and (v) alignment of an applicant’s research interests with our faculty’s ongoing and future research. Many otherwise strong applicants do not rise to among the top few when such criteria are carefully considered.

Depressing. This is the last grad application cycle I can afford. I will have to take whatever I can get now whether its temporary or permanent.

Is there a group for UW for either Core or MedSLP?

C.S. Major with a class in NLP and some foreign language experience. Hopefully will get an offer in early May >.

Any updates from anyone? Its getting down to the wire to accept/decline from other programs and UW hasn't said a peep.

Phone call from PI followed by email. 2 years undergrad and 2 year post-grad research experience. No publications.
