To posters below, a received a reply from Miriam from Graduate Office on 22 Feb. She was extremely polite and said all decisions were expected to be made by the end of the month. I asked her again on 5th March and haven't heard back yet.

I did not hear back, but I noticed people were getting responses, so I emailed the department. I was told that I was waitlisted and that when spots open up they will search through the waitlist each time. Won't know until late summer. I really hope to get in, this is my top choice!
