Invited to in-person graduate open house on 3/14 to meet faculty and current/prospective students. Not a formal offer.

got an invite to their open house, but no acceptance/rejection/interview. Anyone know if that means I'm on the waitlist? Maybe they'll interview at the open house or something?

Got an email about openhouse but didnt mention anything about being accpected or not, what does it mean?

If you already received the offer and have a better place to go to, please turn down the offer to let the department know! Learned from the manager (please do not bother the manager now since too many mails to address!) that the first round offers are sent out, and was told currently on the waitlist.
