Second time applying (waitlisted two years ago), UCLA master's student graduating in March 2022, informal interview with POI on 1/17 (seemed like a formality and that I may receive an offer soon)

Admitted to unfunded masters at NYU GSAS

Anybody got admitted off the WL for NYU's MSDS ? Have been on the WL for a month now

Went to the waitlist in the first round and got the offer literally on the second last day. This is my top choice so definitely worth it. I feel super lucky because though I have 3 periods of research experience, I have absolutely no publication. I had strong recommendation letters, and I guess they are the sole element that got me here. Also, my prof is a first-year AP. That also made the application somehow easier. Also received offer from UCSB PhD and Brown MS, which are both very nice. But I prefer the NYU group and the big-city vibe in NYC.

Any WA grp for MS DS NYU Fall 21?

NYU Courant CS PhD. Applied 12/12/2020. No GRE. No interviews. Rejected 27/04/2021. Good luck to all admitted students.

Had already committed elsewhere since NYU sent the decision weeks after every other deadline despite emailing them and asking for an update on the timeline...

Got accepted to the MA in Experiential humanities w/minimal funding, rejected that offer ( it low key seems like a catch-all money-making program because a referral to a different NYU MA program woulda made more sense, they probably had fewer applicants than normal this year because of COVID)

Scholarship for 13K/year

The application status only mentions PhD rejected but I have also selected option to be considered for MS. Any idea when we would get those?? It has been 4 months, when would we get the results!
