Expected after seeing better candidates get rejected. Disappointed.

Anyone still waiting for decision? At this stage after many waves of accepts/rejects what can we accept now? :O

Interviewed on 2/9/18. Current status: ghosted.

So excited! Good luck everyone! Debating between UMass MS, Brown MS and Cornell MEng. So lucky to be in this position but such a difficult decision :( Any advice?

Accepted into the masters program. Undergraduate degree in cs with a job offer from Amazon, is it even worth getting a masters?

Was not accepted into PhD program, however I was accepted into the Masters program. However, since CS Masters students are ineligible for any form of assistantship at UMass, I'll probably be denying this (once I work out if I'm too poor to afford it) Good luck to others!

Applied for MS+PhD and got rejected into their MS program. No assistantships available to MS students and no thesis option means instant decline. Good luck to anyone on the waitlist.

I send an email to the CS dept a couple of days ago and they said "we aim to have all our decisions made by the end of March". There's already a mass wave of Masters decision and several PhD accepts/rejects but I receive nothing till now. Anyone still waiting to hear back?

Email stated, "At this point we cannot make any offer of funding, including TA'ship, however we hope to confirm whether funding is available very soon within the next two weeks."

Not sure why I got contacted so late for this since the deadline for application was Dec. 1st. I really should have heard back sooner given the deadline but oh well! I got better offers anyway and this was my last choice of where I applied. Weird situation though since at the beginning of March I got an email from my PI saying she didn't know about the status of my application but then I let her know I was going to pick one of my other options where I had already been accepted. So I wonder if this is a rejection since she let them know this or if I truly was rejected. Either way I'm stupid excited for the place I will be attending so this rejection doesn't sting at all!
