- Not sure why I got contacted so late for this since the deadline for application was Dec. 1st. I really should have heard back sooner given the deadline but oh well! I got better offers anyway and this was my last choice of where I applied. Weird situation though since at the beginning of March I got an email from my PI saying she didn't know about the status of my application but then I let her know I was going to pick one of my other options where I had already been accepted. So I wonder if this is a rejection since she let them know this or if I truly was rejected. Either way I'm stupid excited for the place I will be attending so this rejection doesn't sting at all!
