So for the past few weeks I logged into my portal and it showed my gtid. Today I logged in and I saw a "gtaccount" underneath my gt id. My gtaccount a combination of my name and random numbers. Did anyone notice this? Could this mean I am expecting a decision soon?

I'm wondering did y'all previous posters get y'all offer? who said it's gone be out 'in about two weeks' at the beginning of Feb? Cuz I emailed the program assistant today and apparently their decisions are not being made yet. 'Thank you for reaching out about your application status! The department is still reviewing applications for Fall 2021 and hopefully decisions will begin to be made soon.' Soooooo what ya talking about?

I emailed the admissions comm regarding GtID not showing on the application and this was their reply. "There is not a particular time that the number starts showing up. It is based on when some processes happen in the background. The presence or absence of the GTid does not impact the department reading the application."

TTBP: I said I'd attend the virtual event but I haven't heard anything form the aero dept. My application status just says submitted. It seems odd to invite you if you were rejected, maybe the rejection was an accident?

I'm in CME. I was offered a stipend for the first 5 semesters along with a fellowship for the first 4 years.

TTPB: I also got the acceptance mail accidentally from the Georgia tech robotics program. Did Aero dept. gave you any updates. My status in the portal says rejected. Are u attending a virtual visit. ?

TTPB: I have applied for their master's programme and have received the invite. I guess its for both PhD and Masters applicants.

I was not invited to an interview. They sent me an email with an offer letter.

Does Gatech or Umich do interviews for PhD? If I received none, does it mean I am rejected? OMG this cycle is so brutal
