Not even the courtesy of an email to notify me of my rejection. 4.0 GPA undergrad and master’s, 3 years post-bacc research experience, 1.5 years clinical, 4 publications, 5 conference presentations, and several additional publications in the works. Saving myself the time, effort, money, and annoyance of writing essay responses to absurd prompts next year and not applying here again.

Rejected from PhD, but offered admission to MA. Genuinely soul crushing because I thought I had a chance here and was particularly excited as someone who specializes in disability studies. Onward!

Just checked the portal and saw

MA GPA. Saw that the decision was uploaded to the portal.

Decision uploaded to portal.

Received unofficial notification on 12/4, followed by official notification of admission on 12/5. I was also notified of merit scholarship award in the same letter.

3 years undergrad research, 1.5 years work experience, 4 publications got the email monday morning around 9 am est
