3.78 GPA, Average GRE, Strong SOP and LORs. I was really hoping for this one. Ah well...

Rejected from Direct Doctorate, accepted to Master via mail saying to check website. Top 10% from EPFL, good SoP, average LoR, poor research experience.

The direct doctorate admissions committee of the Department of Computer Science has carefully reviewed your qualifications, competencies and level of mastery. Unfortunately, the committee has decided that your qualifications do not meet the programme requirements and we therefore have to decline your request for admission to the Direct Doctorate Computer Science. Nevertheless, we are pleased to inform you that we can offer you a place on the Master's degree programme in Autumn Semester 2021

EE Undergraduate from China with an offer from EEIT. The result is pretty much predictable. Big Congs for those who received the admission!
