Are there people here, who applied to Earth Sciences/Geology/Planetary Sciences/Geophysics PhD programs in USA? If yes, let's make a forum to discuss about the decision and the profiles. Also, is there anyone who has heard anything from WUSTL/WashU? Their deadline was December 1.

3 years of research, NIH MARC T34 scholar, 0 publications, but two manuscripts in progress. Met with professor of interest before receiving emailed acceptance.

Upper division GPA (senior & junior GPA) : 3.99/4.0, No GRE, No internship, No research experience

Had 5 semesters in two different labs, 2 very strong LOR, 4 semesters of TA, and research interests aligned very closely with faculty I was interviewed by.
