Economics PhD Graduate School Admission Results

[Not WL] TPB. I have heard some pretty good references about UC-Riv, and I would rather live in California instead of New Brunswick. Also, from a close friend experience, Rutgers sacrifices 50% of each cohort on the prelims and then gives them the option of an MA, and that's it. If you feel UC-Riv will provide a more supportive environment, then it should be a no-brainer and just go to CA.

Anyone has heard about waitlist status after the 15th?

Is there anyone who did not receive any news for more than 7 weeks? I submitted it 7 weeks ago but still hear nothing.

Same here. Received the acceptance on 22nd Feb. Had the interview for funding. Then no reply from them. They ignored emails.... :(

TPB: TAMU. out of my applications, TAMU and Tulane did not send any communication, did not reply to queries as well. I came from this forum that the results were out.

What is Fu*%king wrong with TAMU? They are radio silent and do not even respond to e-mails. We do pay high fees to be considered and treated with basic respect. If it is a rejection, send your generic one-liner rejections as others schools do to their WL and people who paid.

Accepted off the waitlist. 5a/2w/0r. Low quant GRE - but a lot of mathematics coursework and research experience.

Got an email to check the website. I am waitlisted. No mention of how long the waitlist is or my position on it. They say that the final decision would be sent out starting from April, but it's already the end of April... I assume most people with offers have already made their decisions by now? Not sure why New School releases their results so late this year. Not sure what to expect either.

Is the UC Riverside good enough in macroeconomic training point of views? I am interested in monetary policy, economic growth, and business cycles so, will UCR be a good choice? Please suggest, thanks

What a disgrace they send out rejections almost one week after Apr 15, and ignored my message to withdraw my application. Glad to have accepted a better offer earlier.
