Hi all! Would appreciate if anyone could share their funding offer for UChicago PhD for this cycle. Also, this is my dream school and ranked well above my best offer so far. I'd love if anyone could kindly reject it, so I can accept, and also reject my dominated offers for someone else :)

Ignore Wl. TPB: They just need to make sure that you are serious to join them. Try to email prof Al-Hamoud and show your enthusiasm for joining their PhD program. I do not know how, but, I am sure that they have free positions every year. If you have a strong applicant, this reduce your chance as the program is based on very rudimentary knowledge of Economics. Professors are not updated enough (except for 2-3) and the quality of research is pretty low. Think carefully before joining them. Many of their PhD students have dropped out from the program in the previous years. That's the main reason why they want to make sure that you are serious to join the program. Never give up, you'll get that. But, think about that.

Those who received an offer from NYU, can you please share what is the funding amount they gave?

Hi Everyone. Please does anyone have an idea or experience on how the waitlist for funding works at TTU. Also, please, if you have a funding offer from TTU and you have better offers, please for the sake of God, decline. This is kinda my last resort for a PhD in Economics. Please, reply me guys, one love.

First interview on Feb 10, Second interview on March 8, then the head of department sent me an email for my rejection. It's so depressing that I have still no offer with funding. (I only applied for European schools)

Ignore WL: Anyone still haven't heard from NYU? I saw a couple of days/weeks ago some rejections and waitlists, also aware of the email posts that were saying 'almost all admits are out'. Anyone in the same boat?

Has anyone found any changes to the portal? It's been a week since their email and I haven't found any updates on the portal.

Ignore WL. Has anyone not heard from MSU yet? I see on the portal that they sent out some offers earlier but nothing since. No waitlist as well. Does anyone have any clue if its on implied WL or IR?
