Has anyone heard rejection from here?

My application status has changed to final review. Does it mean good? I had not any interview

Called the department today asking about when to expect a decision, and they said I should know by early next week, so I'm going to accept my other offer. I know the USC deadline for accepting/declining an offer is May 15, but this seems like a rejection to me. Hopefully this helps everyone else who's still waiting to hear back from USC.

Please do not waste your time and resources to apply to this program. As they don't even bother a respectful and on-time rejection. After several months of waiting and telling me I am on the waitlist because my application is impressive. On the verge of all schools decision deadline, they didn't even bother to send a template nice rejection. The coordinator emails me at last minute and in the email all she says is "The faculty have decided not to offer you admission to the PhD program here at the UofA, as they did not find your application competitive." Really, the worst way of rejecting someone who has waited this long.

The status on the website was changed from "awaiting" to "decision made" directly - without final review.

Provisional acceptance. No news about funding. Has anyone received funding sofar?

Checked the website on April/13 to find the status "final review". I knew it was bad because I know they did not contact any of my references. After that by 30 min status was changed to "Decision Mad". Couple of hours later the letter of denial was available on the website. The email was sent next day. "Dear ####### #####, The faculty in the Computer Science - Ph D program, have completed a review of your application for admission to graduate study at the University of Minnesota. We have carefully considered all of your application materials, and unfortunately your admission has not been approved. There were a great many excellent applications, and therefore the final decision was very difficult. If you have any questions concerning this decision, please contact directly the major program to which you applied for admission. I sincerely regret that we are unable to approve your admission, and hope that our decision will not discourage you from pursuing further academic education or professional development. Please accept our best wishes for success in your future endeavors. Sincerely, Dean Tsantir Director of Admissions Graduate Admissions Office 309 Johnston Hall 101 Pleasant St SE Minneapolis, MN 55455 Phone (612) 625-3014 Fax (612) 625- 6002" The annoying thing they waited too long to let me know the rejection, although I'm sure they knew the decision long ago. Anyway, will try somewhere else next year.

Is there anybody who is accepted off the waitlist? I expected the result to be out today, but I received nothing so far.

It's past April 15th and I still have not heard anything from them yet... anyone in the same boat?

Does anyone get funding yet?

Didn't make it off the waitlist. Don't know why I bothered with US universities.
