Finally got a response from them. Oh well I got accepted into a better school nonetheless.

Got Admission but there is no mention about any assistantship

TTPB: I found out that the deadline to accept for the other track decisions that were already released is May 15. We have about 8 working days until then. This has been a long wait. Hoping the next week clears it at least

TTPB: I did not know this. Thanks for pointing out. Now, I may have to reconsider my admission.

Has anyone received any admit from UCLA in the past 1-2 weeks? Is there any chance of an admit now? I emailed them, but haven't received a reply yet.

First, the checklist disappeared with only 'Upload Material' section. Later got a mail saying that a decision has been posted. Good luck everyone

Our admission committee looks at your individual record such as overall GPA, GRE scores, grades in foundational courses such as calculus and physics as well as courses related to the major area that you applied to. In addition, it is important to understand that there are a limited number of spots for each major area, so your application is compared to the other applicants applying to the same major area. Got rejected after being waitlisted. Really really disappointed. Waited for 2 long months. I dont know what to do now...

Any idea when they are going to finalize decisions?

Just to let everyone know, I emailed the ECE Dept. last week about when we should expect decisions. They just got back to me, saying "Our department is finalizing the remaining decisions. All applicants will be notified via email with a decision soon."
