According to the CUDCP Admissions Timelines, today is the last day that Pitt sends out interview invitations. I wasn't contacted-bummer. However, best to all who got an invite!

Just got an official email notification today. The interview is on February 10 and 11.

So excited to see fellow sleep scientists on 2/11!

Please ignore status. Has anyone else not heard from University of Pittsburgh's psychology department since applying? I hate uncertainty. Ugh.

I got the weird email too and then got this follow up: "This is the Admissions Team in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. Please forgive the inconvenience, but you may have recently received an email from our School with advisor information in error! If you have received this email you may simply delete it – there is no need to respond! Thank you for you understanding, and again I apologize for the inconvenience. Sincerely, Wes Lipschultz, Senior Director of Student and Academic Affairs & SCI Student Services Team "

Ugh so frustrated by the error email that was sent out :( I've yet to hear anything from the school since I applied. I thought it was strange I would be accepted without an interview from a PI.

FAKE acceptance email from [email protected]. I see a lot of people have gotten this email in all different fields - I contacted Pitt SCI admissions and this was their response, so rest easy if you clicked on the link / provided your info: "My understanding is that this was an error related to the filter on who the email was sent to (in other words, this email should have been constrained to only send to those who applied to SCI Grad programs). Somehow that filter was not applied. This is still a closed system, however, so this should not be a problem. However, I have CC'd our tech folks so they are aware as well. "

Woah - got a weird acceptance email from Pitt that definitely seems fake. I applied Linguistics but the letterhead is "School of Computing and Information" with no academic advisor listed.
