Graduate School Admission Results

Oh well!! Kinda bummed, but not too surprised. Congrats everyone who was waitlisted/got in!

To the Monmouth poster below, I received a phone call from the head of the dept. Dr. Remshifski congratulating me on my acceptance. She said a packet will be arriving in the mail with deposit information. I was denied last year from Monmouth and they mailed a letter. I think they mail letters of wait list and denials.

Accepted an offer from another school, so I took myself off the wait list

Utterly and completely heartbroken. I didn't even imagine it would hurt this much being rejected from my own program. I know my scores were low but I thought with all my experience I would have been accepted.

FINALLY heard back. This program asks not to call about status due to high volume of apps, but when I called last week I found out the last wave of decisions went out on 3/31 (I still got no email, mail, or changes to my online portal). The woman said she would re-send my decision, still never did, so I emailed again, only to finally receive my letter dated March 10th. The best part is, I got a passive aggressive response as if it was my fault and I must have lost the email. This was the last school I was waiting to hear from before I chose. If only I knew I was rejected a month and a half ago... For all of you out there still waiting for any school, START CALLING! This happens more than you think

To the poster below: I was told via e-mail (I reached out to them) that Ohio State "hopes" to release their final admission decisions at "the start of April". As to whether that means acceptance, waitlist or rejection, I'm not sure. They did note that they are cognisant of the fact that we all need to decide by April 15th, so that's good.

4.0 post bac GPA. Glad to at least be on the waitlist, but I'm still disappointed.

so excited to start in the fall!

Last week I was put onto the waitlist, yesterday they emailed to say that one of my check-list forms was filled out incorrectly so I am no longer eligible to stay on the waitlist. Absolutely ridiculous but I have better options at this point!

SO EXCITED! Will be accepting!

Accepted to the online program starting Summer 2016

I was notified today via phone that I was accepted. She said I should be getting a letter in the mail to confirm. Excited to meet my new cohort:)

Got a phone call today around 9:00am will be declining offer

First acceptance! 3.5 undergrad GPA (not a communication disorders degree) and 3.8 GPA in prerequisites. Submitted my application on January 25. Waiting to hear back from other places but there's a good chance I'll be accepting this offer. Good luck to everyone else waiting to hear back :)
