Political Science, Rutgers University New Brunswick Finally heard back from Rutgers. I guess hearing nothing/no updates in the portal was a soft waitlist? I got an email from one of the Professors I had spoken to before I applied notifying me I had been admitted off the waitlist. Wanted to post here since I know a lot of us haven't heard anything from the department...seems like there has been movement.

Spanish - Bilingualism And Second Language Acquisition, Rutgers University New Brunswick Omit status. Any news from that Ph.D. program offered by Rutgers New Brunswick? I submitted my application in January but I haven't received any answer yet. My admission status in the application portal still says "under review"

Comparative Literature, Rutgers University New Brunswick No email notification. Randomly checked the portal. No letter attached, nothing. Just a single line: "The committee has reviewed your application, and you've been denied admission". These schools can be really brutal sometimes. I'm really disappointed

Linguistics, Rutgers University New Brunswick Ignore status: I'm wondering if anyone plans to reject their offer, as I'm currently on the waitlist and interested. With the deadline approaching, I'm hoping to be able to make a final decision soon.
