Materials Science And Engineering, Penn State University What a hell of a program! It was a dream-like program for me; I had around 11 professors working on stuff directly related to my past projects, and I tried mailing each of them multiple times, but no one cared to respond, nor did the admissions committee. I feel like trash now; maybe I am not good enough to pursue this course. I am just in tears writing this, so apologies if this feels too exaggerated!! Good luck to those who got in!

Physics, Ohio State University Was wait-listed March. I personally knew of someone who had applied to the same research field and group as me and rejected the offer. I was really hoping for this, I work with a young Prof who joined the department last fall. The email said there's no funding or advising capacity in the department. None of this makes sense. It was my second cycle and I've genuinely no where to go now.

Political Science, Michigan State University Waitlisted since February. Urgently Requesting that If you are accepted but will not attend; If waitlisted but unlikely to attend, please let Graduate Admissions Director from Department know via email. Your timely response would be appreciated as the deadline April 15th is approaching. Not sure whether there is still any spot but would be glad if you can quickly notify Department.

Chemical Engineering, Michigan State University 5 published journal papers in Q1 Journals. No GRE. I had an interview with the admission committee 3 days before receiving the fully-funded admission offer. After graduating from my master's university, I was a volunteer research assistant for 5 years.
