Philosophy, University Of Nebraska, Lincoln I was accepted without funding originally (sad face)...then today I was offered funding (happy face)...awesome, thanks to who ever declined...because of this, I will decline Utah (no funding) and wait list positions at Arizona State, U. of Oklahoma, U of Illinois -Urbana, and Saint Louis U....I hope this helps someone!

Philosophy, University Of Nebraska, Lincoln To the person inquiring about 'tipping hand of the ordering of students on the waitlist': I did not discuss the ordering of the students on the wait list. In January I was accepted without funding and told that they would let me know about their decision regarding funding...in late March I was notified that I was on a wait list for funding...today I was phoned and notified that I would be offered funding...I hope that helps...if you have more questions, I'll check back here tomorrow...

Mathematics, University Of Nebraska, Lincoln They might offer more admissions, but not until after April 15 deadline. As a result, I had to withdraw my application to my first choice school. If you're desperate and still waiting on them, you might have a chance. Good luck.

Computational Biology, Joint CMU-Pitts PhD Program In Computational Biology Got it on 4th, got other rejects as well from Cornell, CSHL (Watson School), Duke, UCSC, UCSD and Iowa State University all in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology field. Did'nt heard anything from UNC-CH, Univ of Michigan, Univ of Missouri, Univ of Nebraska, Uni of South Florida and Univ of Southern Mississippi for PhD in same fields. My stats: 1200 GRE (480 V/ 720Q), 98 Toefl iBT, 83% in undergrads with Bioinformatics major, 1 yrs experience in open source web development and lots of posters ( some in international conferences) and two international publications (one indexed in PUBMED).

Philosophy, University Of Nebraska, Lincoln This is in response to the question below: I’ve been accepted to Nebraska with full funding, but I’m also on the waiting lists at Minnesota, UC Davis, and UConn, and if I get accepted to any of them, will decline at Nebraska. Hope this helps.
