Aerospace Engineering, University Of Illinois Urbana-Champaign I have been admitted, however, the email stated that I must seek a professor for supervision and funding, and thus have sent an email to the professor that I have mentioned in my Academic Statement. Is anyone else in the same situation and has gotten a reply back? Does anyone know if the professor in my Academic Statement has already gone through my documents and accepted me? Thank you! :)

Mechanical And Aerospace Engineering, Princeton University 2 first author, 2 second author submitted articles to international journals. My background was not strongly aligned with Profs in the program, but I had interest. I got a generic rejection letter. No interview.

Mechanical And Aerospace Engineering, Princeton University Interviewed back in January with two professors who said that my application was "extremely impressive". The rejection letter was generic and very short. The impression I get is that since the school is so flush with highly-qualified applicants they can afford to only admit students with research interests that closely match a professor. Disappointing, but we move on.
