Aeronautics & Astronautics, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT) Don't lose hope, it just tells us how many applicants they had in relation to free slots, nothing about the decision status. Considering there have already been acceptances on tuesday I guess the whole process may take a while. I was also about to contact the department, but luckily received an email today. So hang in there, it's just one more weekend to go until March, 1!

Aerospace Engineering, Georgia Institute Of Technology (GaTech) I am the previous GA Tech aero* poster. Received official email today of acceptance to the PhD program and brief details of the RA that I'm being offered. (I think I messed up by applying to masters programs when my end goal has always been PhD.) A second email followed three minutes later indicating that I'm being offered the same RA from another professor as well.

Aerospace Engineering, Georgia Institute Of Technology (GaTech) Met with lab director today and he said he would like to offer me admission with an RA, and will put my name in for the presidential fellowship. He seemed like a really cool guy too. Very excited :)

Aerospace Engineering, University of Texas, Austin (UT Austin) My status check still says "We have received all credentials required to process your application. Your file has been forwarded to the Graduate Committee for review." but if you go down to the bottom it says "An official confirmation of our admission decision will be mailed to your permanent address." Has that second message always been there???
