  • Got an email that I’ve been accepted but will take 5-10 for paper work to go through. Idk if I can go yet b/c of funding... This was in the email from the professor in charge of grad admissions “As you know you have applied very late. There is simply no GA openings at this moment. I will for sure try to arrange something, but at this moment I can not guarantee anything.” Not sure if by no GA openings they mean they have all spots confirmed or if they mean they sent out all their offers and need someone to decline before sending out more. If any one has info on this please let me know, or even better if you have been offered funding and are not going please please turn it down.

  • TPB: don't worry, it is easy to move to the Msc economics after the introductory courses (ec400, ec451). My advice is, please, approach professors regularly explaining your case and hear their advices. It is completely fine if you don't do well in the exams, they do not want you to fail so they will do anything in their hand to move you to another master/ give you a gap year. It is super common in this university. I personally have 2 friends who will come back next year after getting better background. Feel free to ask any questions :)
