BA in Statistics from a Top 5 US public school, with all A's in CS courses like ds&a, OS, DB, AI, etc. No published research but a strong undergrad honors thesis in statistical machine learning, and a few decent projects in deep learning and computer vision. Robotics ( MRSD ), Carnegie Mellon University Bachelor's in mechanical engineering from a top NIT in India. 1 year of startup work-ex, 1 year of full time computer vision research experience, 3 month internship at UWaterloo during undergrad. 2 published papers( in image processing/computer vision ) and 1 paper under review ( in AI for manufacturing ). Admit converted from waitlist.
