Physics And Astronomy, University Of Maine Grad GPA. Two line boiler plate email from grad coordinator, didn't even have my name on it. No interview. Both Astro profs are retiring (my field), but W.E., it is UMaine, a MS physics degree with a 3.91, who are they looking for?

Physics, Massachusetts Institute Of Technology Second year/attempt applying to grad school. Have a 2 year MSc, 3+ years research experience, 1 second-author pub., 4 strong/good LORs (2 well-known profs. in the field). Haven't got a single acceptance yet! I guess it's a huge wave of rejects for me this year as well. Totally heartbreaking! I'll probably move to industry :( My heart was in physics/astro research, I will surely miss it! :(

Physics, University Of Utah Ignore waitlist, has anyone received interview invite from Utah, esp for astro? I haven't seen anything about Utah yet but my PI said some interview invites have been already sent, so chance of acceptance is low if you didn't get an invite

Aerospace Engineering, Stanford University First no. Had two research projects with conference presentations and publications. Did Stanford summer program w LOR from one Aero/Astro professor. Minority (first-gen, Hispanic, low-income), full-ride UG, three honor societies, placed in engineering competitions, and internship experiences.
