Computer Science, Yale University I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a one-year Master's degree in Computer Science (Conversion degree). I have four years of work experience as an SWE. I have no research experience outside of my dissertation and no publications. I have no TA experience.

Cognitive Science, Johns Hopkins University Email to check portal; generic rejection email. 2 internships in occupational therapy, current RA at Yale, 1 poster publication with Yale. Doesn’t surprise me; after 3.5 months of wait and no move to the proposal phase, I figured it wasn’t a good fit.

Public Policy, Yale University Not unexpected: as you can see quite a terrible GRE score as I did not have the chance to study for it at all. Always worth a shot though :) I handed in a video to try to make up for it/stand out and know they never clicked on it. I think if your GRE is under a certain number they might not even look at your application.
