History, Univ. Of Illinois At Chicago To the poster below, in reference to your question, I was accepted into the PhD program on Monday. I think the issue is funding, I was awarded the Lincoln Fellowship, so therefore was admitted to the program. They are probably trying to secure funding for you, good luck.
