  • I was just trying to be sarcastic but maybe it seemed serious, so I apologize for increasing your anxiety. I don’t actually think that anyone’s applications are that bad, although it is a reality that sometimes universities just do not get back to you (Stanford is good about replying to applications though.) This is my second year applying, so anyone who doesn’t get into grad school your first time, just know that you aren’t alone and to just work harder for next year. So many of the best and most intelligent applicants don’t get into the top schools because of how competitive it is. Good luck.
