CCC Sociology, University Of California, Berkeley (UCB) Universities, "liberal" and "conscious" as they might think they are, end up reproducing the very structure they are attempting to resist (especially in a place like Berkeley). Bourgeois schools with bourgeois audience. Shouldn't have applied.

Sociology, University Of Michigan, Ann Arbor This was the one department I contacted no one at. I now realize that applying to a Ph.D. program where you have not corresponded with any faculty is likely a COMPLETE waste of money, time, and more money.
