Political Science, University Of Pennsylvania applied to 5 top poli sci phd programs this year, all rejected. International student, field: political communication, without poli sci degrees. Poli sci phd programs are so competitive and it seems that they don't welcome students from outside majors, compared with so called "tech" phd programs like hci, information, and cs, these programs seem more friendly. However, got a MA offer from Chicago MAPSS - poli sci. It's an encouragement.

Political Science, University Of Toronto Sent an email to inquire about the progress of the application, and I was told to be put on the waiting list inside. Although the application before the MA has been informed of the power of Canadian research, today is a visual feel, indeed difficult.
