  • To people waiting to hear back from UChicago: I got in contact with my person of interest, who told me that all acceptances should be going out by the end of this week. May the stress begin.
University Of ChicagoPhysics (IME), PhD (F19)Other via Other on 5 Feb 2019 I5 Feb 2019
  • To the commenters below, Nanophotonics happens to be a part of the Molecular Engineering Programme and I thought putting Physics might help others to search because it helped me. And I put in the stats in the wrong box. Its Q:165, V:162, AWA:4.5. My research area would be Quantum Optics and Plasmonics. Hope it helps!
University Of ChicagoPhysics, PhD (F19)Other via Other on 4 Feb 2019 4 Feb 2019
  • IME (Institute of Molecular Engineering) is not affiliated with the Physical Sciences Division while the Department of Physics is, therefore they even don’t share the same online application system.
University Of ChicagoPhysics, PhD (F19)Other via Other on 4 Feb 2019 O4 Feb 2019
  • They were accepted for IME (see the program they put) which already mostly came out, so likely not a troll
University Of ChicagoPhysics, PhD (F19)Other via Other on 4 Feb 2019 O4 Feb 2019
  • I am pretty sure the post below is just trolling based on the stats inputed. UChicago Physics PhD decisions are usually released sometime in mid February.
