GOT OFF WAITLIST

I had been told unofficially that I was on the waitlist, and I was accepted off the waitlist today!

Accepted from the waitlist. Rejected the offer from NYU. Good luck to everyone on the waitlist

BA and Master’s from another world recognised uni. So pleased to get this late acceptance!

There goes my dream university—no interview, just a direct rejection via email. Profile: 1.5 year job experience, 2 Q1 journal papers (1st-author), 1 paper under review, 2 conference papers. All research LORs.

A move into a different (but related) discipline. It was a long shot after all.

Cog Sci+CS major, 3.95+ GPA, with Honor Thesis + 5 publication (3 second author, 1 first author, 1 fifth but undertook a lot) across HCI/Cog Psych

Extremely thankful for the admission. Struggled through Physics/Economics/Math major classes in UG, found passion for Statistics and completed the major in my final year with ~3.9 GPA. 1 year experience as a RA but no original research. My advice for others reading this is to have a clear purpose for what you want to do in the program when applying - (if applicable) write about the struggles you have taken to overcome them and how the program will specifically help you continue to achieve those goals.
