UIUC | Physics, PhD (F21) | Wait listed via Website on 7 Mar 2021 | A | 7 Mar 2021 | - To the people (like me) who have not gotten anything back yet, don't get your hopes up. From last year it looked like the welcome weekend at the end of March came and went without them notifying people of their rejections, so that will probably happen too. We just fell through the cracks.

Brown University | Physics, PhD (F21) | Wait listed via POST on 7 Mar 2021 | | 7 Mar 2021 | - [ignore waitlist], Anyone from CME got accepted yet?
Cornell University | Applied Physics, PhD (F21) | Wait listed via POST on 7 Mar 2021 | | 7 Mar 2021 | - TTPB: "Meh... I have a better offer." May I ask where did you get accepted?
Duke University | Medical Physics, PhD (F21) | Rejected via E-mail on 2 Mar 2021 | U | 7 Mar 2021 | - Got rejected from both masters and PhD :'( was my top choice
Columbia University | Medical Physics, Masters (F21) | Accepted via E-mail on 5 Mar 2021 | U | 7 Mar 2021 | - I just got an acceptance on Friday. Not sure if I can go cuz *MONEY* but I'm happy to have been accepted!
UIUC | Physics, PhD (F21) | Wait listed via Other on 7 Mar 2021 | A | 7 Mar 2021 | - If I haven't been notified does that mean I'm waitlisted?
University Of Oxford | Theoretical Physics, PhD (F21) | Interview via POST on 7 Mar 2021 | I | 7 Mar 2021 | - TTPB: Congrats on your offer! I am also an international student, but I applied to the DPhill in Theoretical Physics, so, would you mind to share what scholarship or fund you received to be fully-funded?
UIUC | Physics, PhD (F21) | Wait listed via Other on 7 Mar 2021 | O | 7 Mar 2021 | - My bad, I was under the assumption 30 is normal intake. And a prof told me that they will admit less people this year as the incoming class size last year was large. Still, I think 2-3% is too low for international astro theory guys like me to make it in.
UIUC | Physics, PhD (F21) | Wait listed via Other on 7 Mar 2021 | | 7 Mar 2021 | - TTPB: The usual class size is 60-80, but this year due to funding issues they are only able to take ~30 (from a professor at UIUC). I believe less than 100 offers were made, probably 30 theory and 60 experiment.

University Of Oxford | Particle Physics, PhD (F21) | Accepted via E-mail on 5 Mar 2021 Undergrad GPA: 3.73 GRE General (V/Q/W): 169/166/6.00 GRE Subject: n/a ♦ | I | 7 Mar 2021 | - Hep-Ex, fully funded. 2 interviews in mid-Feb.
Int'l student; BSc Hons. at top 5 Australian uni, MSc at top continental European. Probably quite good reference letters, one of these interdisciplinary (computer science), and one professor well-known to the group at Oxford. May have been a bit lucky since I have substantial research experience (3+ yrs) in the specific project direction I was targeting.
UIUC | Physics, PhD (F21) | Wait listed via Other on 7 Mar 2021 | O | 7 Mar 2021 | - Historically they admit around 200. This year may be different.
UIUC | Physics, PhD (F21) | Wait listed via Other on 7 Mar 2021 | A | 7 Mar 2021 | - [ignore waitlist] TTPB: is it actually a 1% acceptance rate? that seems super low. How many positions were being offered this year? i haven't received anything from them so i'm scared
University Of Kansas | Physics, PhD (F21) | Rejected via E-mail on 7 Mar 2021 Undergrad GPA: 4.00 GRE General (V/Q/W): 164/167/5.00 GRE Subject: 920 ♦ | | 7 Mar 2021
Cornell University | Physics, PhD (F21) | Accepted via E-mail on 5 Mar 2021 Undergrad GPA: 3.89 GRE General (V/Q/W): 160/170/5.50 GRE Subject: 990 ♦ | A | 7 Mar 2021 | - Definitely unexpected after the slew of rejection emails released earlier, plus no response to my email inquiry. Applied for CMT.

University Of Maryland | Physics, PhD (F21) | Wait listed via Other on 7 Mar 2021 | | 7 Mar 2021 | - Please decline acceptance offer if you have better offers.
McGill University | Physics, Masters (F21) | Wait listed via Other on 7 Mar 2021 | | 7 Mar 2021 | - (ignore waitlist) (McGill) Anybody has an idea on how many people the physics department offers admission to? (especially for masters degree)
University Of Rhode Island | Physics, PhD (F21) | Rejected via E-mail on 7 Mar 2021 | | 7 Mar 2021
UIUC | Physics, PhD (F21) | Rejected via E-mail on 7 Mar 2021 | I | 7 Mar 2021 | - "Had close to 1000 applicants." So that's about 1% acceptance rate again.:/
Louisiana State University | Medical Physics, PhD (F21) | Rejected via E-mail on 6 Feb 2021 | I | 7 Mar 2021
University Of Illinois | Physics, PhD (F21) | Rejected via E-mail on 7 Mar 2021 | I | 7 Mar 2021 | - UIUC. For whatever reason, I couldn't find it in the drop down. The reason I am seriously pissed by this is not the rejection, but the fact that they had to wait for decades to let me know. CMT.

University Of Illinois At UC (UIUC) | Physics, PhD (F21) | Rejected via E-mail on 6 Mar 2021 | I | 7 Mar 2021
Cornell University | Physics, PhD (F21) | Wait listed via POST on 7 Mar 2021 | O | 7 Mar 2021 | - [ignore waitlist] TTPB: Hope that we'll get in. To whom already decided not to accept the offer, please send them a declined form. That would help us have a chance. Thank you.
Cornell University | Physics, PhD (F21) | Wait listed via Other on 7 Mar 2021 | A | 7 Mar 2021 | - TTPB: I am also waiting patiently for a decision HEP-ex. I don't think there are many of us left and we probably constitute an unofficial waitlist. Would be very nice to be accepted to Cornell though
Columbia University | Medical Physics, Masters (F21) | Accepted via E-mail on 10 Feb 2021 | I | 7 Mar 2021 | - They might be done admitting their students. I got my admission letter in early Feb
