Physics And Astronomy, University Of Oklahoma Major mechanical engineering. PGRE 910/990, GRE 317/340, 1 internship in a national lab, no paper, I guess two strong LORs. I got offer letters from OU, FSU, UA, UTK, and NCSU. Finally, I have decided to go the University of Tennessee in Astrophysics. I turned down the rest of the offer letters. All the best for everyone.

Physics And Astronomy, Cardiff University No Masters, 1 non-refereed conference publication, age 38 I applied for STFC projects in the subfield of astronomy. First the department notified me about the rejection and the admission team emailed me one week later.

Physics, Penn State University CMT. No GRE/sGRE. 1 preprint, 3 years of CMX research, 6 months of CMT research. No interview. GPA: 4.05/4.3 = 3.77/4.0 The admissions committee was very impressed with your application and had put you on top of our waitlist. It turns out that we might have one opening and so we wanted to check with you to see if you had any interest in our program at this point?" I guess this count as an admission? Turned down immediately after receiving this email for another offer.

Physics And Astronomy, University Of Pittsburgh cosmology theory. I had to email them and pester them just to get them to tell me their decision, and so 4 days after the deadline of april 15th, they sent me the official letter of rejection.

Physics And Astronomy, University Of Oklahoma No masters, no publication. Got rejection from University of Tennessee, Michigan State University, Washington State University. Wanted to join one of these universities. Nvm I am happy with OU!!

Physics, Carnegie Mellon University I inquired as to my application status on 8 April and waited for them, in order to make my final decision on the 15th. Got no timely response. 3 days past the deadline I get a negative . Thanks for nothing Carnegie Mellon.
