Physics, Northwestern University Ignore waitlist. Astrophysics (gravity). Emailed the contact at Northwestern three months ago and she said I'm not on the shortlist so I was expecting a rejection soon. However, three months passed and I haven't heard anything back yet. Am I ghosted? Did anyone apply their PhD program and got their physics MS offer in the end?

Astronomy, Northwestern University Sent an email asking for an update since I hadn't heard anything. Responded with a generic email saying they're still going through the applications, and then someone from admissions board replied with rejection.

Computer Science, Northwestern University I believe that I am on a waitlist for Northwesteren, I am hoping to work with Prof. Kaitlin Smith. If you have better offers at hand, please reject NW, as this is my only chance to start PhD this upcoming fall(2024). And, I do really want to work in her group (Quantum Computing/Quantum Hardware)! If anyone has any information about this lab/group please contact me!! Thanks! I saw someone doing this type of entry, thought maybe it's a good idea to reduce my stress haha.
