  • I was devasted when I got the rejection. I had all my hopes here at the time as I had already been rejected in other schools too. I applied to better ranked schools for Fall 2020 and I got accepted.

  • I was accepted in February but sent an official letter in April due to the pandemic. I got funding but it wasn't competitive enough. I had other better offers. The DGS wasn't friendly. He was very professional. This was not my experience with other schools.

  • I was accepted in February. I am only posting this now. The Graduate Program Director and other Professors who sent mails were all nice. They only admitted 5 students (2 international and 3 Canadians). Funding offer is good too.

  • I was accepted 18 days after the deadline! Very grateful but only offered $7,500 in scholarship and $3,000 in work study. I will likely choose CUNY City College or CUNY Queens for a more affordable option.

  • Emailed to ask about my WL status and they said I didn't get an offer. They could only accept 13 people across the 3 programs. Uconn is under a spending freeze with hiring restrictions due to COVID, so it's not surprising. I already accepted another offer, but I still wanted to know. Good luck everyone!

  • A nice email saying that the they have concluded the funding for Fall 2020 as all of the positions have been filled out. Gave an option to defer admission and re-compete for funding in Fall 2021.

  • "Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 panic, the university has made the difficult decision to suspend admissions to the graduate program for the 2020-2021 academic year." Did anyone get into Bucknell? or is this just me getting rejected off the waitlist? I never received a waitlist notification or anything, so it seems like they might actually not be admitting anyone this year, which would be crazy, and almost send me into a general panic
